Without the loan officer, we do not know what our end customer needs or wants. Without the loan officer, we cannot reach our borrower. For these reasons, we are a loan officer-centric organization. This is fundamental to who we are and how we operate. Because we are loan officer-centric, we have no "corporate" office. We have a Support Services Center that is designed to support our loan officers and customers. Every employee within our organization is here to support the loan officers' efforts to bring in new business, build their referral base and serve their customers.
What Is A Mortgage Bank?
As a mortgage banker, we fund our loans with our own warehouse lines of credit. Our loans are originated, processed, underwritten, and closed in-house in our name, in our own branches and our Support Services Center. Focusing on service, our operations team strives to close loans in as little as one-sixth the time of our competitors, and by breaking down the walls between sales and operations staff, we can create a more understandable and transparent process for our borrowers.
